

Helpful Companions, LLC will come to your house (anywhere in our service area--see below) to discuss your needs with you. We recommend that the client(s) we are going to serve be at the meeting if you are not the client yourself.
We are so sure you will like our services we offer you this promise: if you are not satisfied with our services by the end of the second week, we will refund your least hours day of the first two weeks we work for you [offer good for a minimum of two 3-day work weeks; requires one hour notification after the end of the last shift of the two week period]. Two weeks of a repeat schedule allows the workers some time to become familiar with your weekly routine.
We make every effort to keep the same caregiver(s) whenever possible for a client to minimize the number of people coming into your home. And while we are very selective about the caretakers we select for you, you as a client always have the option of requesting a different caregiver if you wish.
We require a Customer Agreement for the following reason: a Customer Agreement ensures that we are both on the same page regarding the boundaries of the care we are providing. For example: if a client has a food or other allergy; if a client has a diet requirement; or any other specific requirement of care we will want to be sure to know this in advance. Also, we want you to understand what service options we provide and the details of the care that we offer.
We do not require a specific period of time except for the minimum of services equal to a startup security deposit due at signup equal to two weeks of services based upon your schedule as provided at startup. The only shift time requirement is a minimum two hours per shift, which makes it worthwhile for our workers to come our to your home. Helpful Companions is available for your service 24 hours a day, 365 days a year including holidays.
